“low cost subsidized food  for under privileged under our food / nutrition for all program”

We had developed a community kitchen service for the underprivileged class in the Dum Dum Area. People of Bengal are clueless in post Amphan cyclone & lockdown due to Covid 19 wave 1. People were in a spot of bother after losing their jobs & livelihood.  After making a close observation, we had decided to start the initiative called “Nagorik Henshel “, where from we had provided the people  standard & nutritious food for token amount.  We had been feeding around 400 people a day .

The Endeavour lasted for 100 days. We took a token amount of Rs20/ per plate from the people and provided them with nutrition enriched food , which included fish, chicken and even Mutton . We received help from people across the globe in our endeavor. After the Holy Durga Puja and restart of the normalcy we reviewed the situation and found that people have started to earn livelihood and hence we paused our Hensel for the time being .We will be needing people from across the globe to help us feed the needy.

During the course of 100 days we  provided over 4lakhs plate of subsidized nutritional food to the people of Dum Dum
